Gideon's Ultra Mega Hot Chilli Jam
Had a neat little harvest from my garden, a good deal of chillies and some very stubborn tomatoes that didn't want to ripen before winter. What to do >30 chillies, including ~15 habaneros? Why, Locked Tomb chilli jam of course.
Took a while, but chopped everything up. I was foolish and did not wear gloves and my finger tips were still burning 48 hours later.
So what's our full ingredient list?
Traffic Light Assortment of Chillies for Gideon: red for her hair, gold for her eyes, and green for non-stop, go go go energy.
Green Tomatoes for Harrow: hard, devoid of sweetness (well, not entirely), and gonna need a lot longer to soften up.
Apple Cider Vinegar for Ianthe: self-evident
A whole lotta jam setting sugar for Nona: because obviously
Applewood chip smoke for Phyrra: smokeshow with a touch of sweetness, does anything more need to be said?
Onion and Garlic for Cam and Pal: a well functioning team, better together and more than the sum of their parts.
Salt for Pash: on account of her saltiness but also because she just livens up the whole deal
Okay, now that I've shoehorned/tortured in those references, let's get cooking!

And so the final flourish, I figured Gideon is the sort of gal who would sponsor a very hot gourmet chilli brand. This wonderful piece of art by @guttertongue seemed like just the thing Gideon would brand herself with (and helped to inspire this). See her Tumblr.
So I printed off some copies and slapped in on the jars to give to some friends. I'm keen on making some other tasty Locked Tomb merchandise now.
The end result was delicious!
